By train

The closest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From Waverley it is a 10-minute walk to the Meeting House.

By bus

Buses 23 and 27 pass along George IV bridge. Many buses serve Princes St and North Bridge, both under 10 minutes walk away. See Lothian Buses website for times.

If coming up from Princes St, it is the stop after the Royal Mile. Then cross over George IV Bridge and walk along Victoria Terrace (not Victoria Street).

If coming from the south, get off at the only stop on George IV Bridge, then continue walking towards the Royal Mile. Just after crossing over Victoria Street, turn left along Victoria Terrace.

On foot

The meeting house is accessed from the top of Lawnmarket or from the George IV Bridge/Victoria Street.

By car

There is metered parking nearby (free on Sundays) in Johnston Terrace, Victoria Street and Grassmarket. There are larger car parks at:
